An incredible fundraising event, hosted by all the team at period. where teams of teachers competed in a quiz answering questions on general knowledge, other teachers and an intense quick fire round! 

Students across all ages came along to watch the extraordinary competition unfold, indulge in free refreshments and take part in the "Guess how many sweets are in the jar" game. Ultimately we crowned our winners- whilst the unfortunate losers admitted their defeat and graciously accepted their forfeit. 

Everyone had an amazing time at the Teacher Quiz and simultaneously helped us to raise money for our deserving cause!

Among the free stalls available were a 'Design a Pad' stall, 'Pin the tail on the tampon', Period Pictionary, and a station where you could estimate the average amount of blood lost over one cycle using jugs and cups of red-dyed water planned to reduce stigma and spread awareness of period poverty. We also launched the sale of our product - a beautifully hand-designed mug drawn by a member of our team, with both staff and students alike purchasing either a Christmas design or one of our originals - sometimes even both! We're so grateful to anyone who purchased a mug or got involved in any of our activity stalls!
